It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Design Contest WIN 4000 POINTS, 20$ AND MORE!I've wanted to hold a design contest for a long time now, and finally I've gathered enough points to do it

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

For those who are new on the group or for who's feeling a little confuse about the voting process, please read the following explanation:

I know how frustrating can be when we enter a contest and we know we have no chance to win because of the voting. For a contest we can choose some ways for people to vote. The best way (and for me the fairest) is when only the participants can vote - all people who have participated have to vote, not for themselves, and no one outside the contest can vote...

Now, you see, this isn't a contest - this is a way to get exposure. If this was a contest I could never put to vote photography, traditional art and digital art together.

The main word in this group is EXPOSE, all means are good to show your art - you have to see these polls as a way to show your work - this is a mean and the true objective isn't to win a sub but to get your work recognized. Winning the sub is like a present, is what someone will get after this exposure game.

I know that who is better known among the deviants will be favoured but I can't really do nothing about it.
In this case, people who ask for votes are bringing people to see all the members' works. In the end, this is what I intend.

So you may ask your watchers to vote, you may write news articles, you may ask for support by all means, even to other groups...

Yes, dear members, please play along.
I know you may feel uncomfortable, but this is just a game. All opinions are welcome and you have a blog at your disposal here. Those who don't have a sub can use this blog for your benefit. I hope you can understand my idea. In my point of view, I can see you all as winners and my main objective is to promote you and expose your art. All the help is welcome.
